Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl says that the tracklisting from the band's upcoming album, Wasting Light, is like a setlist.  Even if the songs weren't in that order, that's how Grohl envisions playing the album live.

Speaking to NME, Grohl revealed that the Foos like the idea of playing Wasting Light in order.

"The new record is sequenced like a setlist.  It all makes perfect sense to me.  Even if they weren't in that order on the record, I think that's the order we'd put them in to play them."

It may seem like Grohl is saying they will put on the same show every night, but fans who go to multiple Foo Fighters gigs won't have to worry about going through the same experience twice.

"We don't really want every night to be the same," Grohl explains.  "I don't want to say the same thing to everybody every night.  I like being a jackass and just talking to the people - making it their own.  Not saying and doing the exact same thing every night.  That's totally boring and lame."

Wasting Light will be released April 12.  Are you excited about the new Foo Fighters album?
