New Distillery Now Open in Kentwood

Recently getting a new brewery, Kentwood is growing more in the adult beverage game with a new distillery.

WZZM 13 reports that Wise Men Distillery is celebrating their grand opening at 4717 Broadmoor Ave. SE this weekend.

The makers of moonshine, gin, rum, and vodka held their official ribbon cutting Friday and are open Saturday from noon until 10 p.m.

The establishment's tasting room features a rustic bar and a gift shop selling the distillery’s drinking glasses, T-shirts, hats, and other merchandise.

Wise Men Distillery's spirits are going to be sold at retailers and bars throughout Michigan.

They're already garnering national recognition, with Wise Men winning Michigan Rum Distillery of the Year, a silver medal for its Red Tape series rum and a bronze for its vodka at the 2019 New York International Spirits Competition, WZZM 13 reports.
