New Celebrity Marijuana Brands Found In Michigan Retailers
Many celebrities and bands have already tapped into the coffee, whiskey, and craft beer markets. Many are now stepping into the marijuana arena.
Celebrities Selling Their Own Brands
Sammy Hagar is one of the best at creating brands that people want to buy outside of his music. Hagar was the owner of the Cabo Wabo Tequilla which he sold for $80 million. He still owns his Cabo Wabo restaurant chains plus has Beach Bar Rum. Hagar and Guy Fieri own a new tequila brand called Santo Spirits. Plus, Sammy just launched a new beer brewed in Detroit called Red Rocker Lager.
Metallica has done great with its Blackened Whiskey brand. Metallica also has a beer called Enter Night.
Korn has done great with ADIDAS and Korn Coffee.
No one has as many licensing deals and brands as Kiss. The band has everything from toys, coffins, clothing, and enough stuff to fill a museum. Heck, they once owned the arena football team called LA Kiss.
Marijuana is The New Frontier For Celebrity Brands
It makes perfect sense that Cheech and Chong have marijuana brands since they built a career based around cannabis from comedy albums to movies.
Snoop Dog is another obvious celebrity to enter a brand into the marijuana biz.
What New Celebrities Have Marijuana Brands In Michigan?
Willie Nelson is another no-brainer when it comes to a celebrity and a marijuana brand. Nelson is synonymous with marijuana so much so that Toby Keith wrote a song called "I'll Never Smoke Weed With Willie Again" after doing just that to inspire the song.
According to Crain Grand Rapids, Willies Reserve is selling like gangbusters and put together by a Michigan company called Aardvark Industries. You may have to travel to the Southwest portion of the state to Green Stem to get some of Willie's Reserve.
Cheech Marin has a brand in Michigan called Cheech's Stash and it sells faster than almost any brand on the market.
Legendary boxing champ Mike Tyson has Tyson 2.0 and it's available in Michigan in stores like Liv Cannabis.
Tyson has a pretty clever gummy product called Mike Bites which are ear-shaped with a bite taken out like in the fight with Tyson and Evander Holyfield. Tyson and Holyfield and a license agreement for the product sold around the holidays called Holy's Ear.
