Ned’s Top 5 Games of 2010

So if you missed the show on Sunday, here is recap of my personal Top 5 video games of 2010!

1.Starcraft 2: Wings of Liberty (PC) Yes! Even though we waited like 8 years for this, it did not dissapoint! Sometimes perfection takes awhile, and you know what? I will wait for a good game, and this was the case for me. Amazing graphics, great storyline, awesome online play. The game is polished, crisp, and fun. Thank you Blizzard for ignoring World of Warcraft for a bit, to get this one right!

2.Splatterhouse (XB360, PS3) Blood, cans, heavy metal...what more could you ask for? Although the game is buggy and has terrible load times, the game is insane fun, and just a classic beat em' up game. No intense gripping storyline, just old school kill everything. Try it! NOW!!!!

3.Super Mario Galaxy 2 (Wii) The common complaint was "It's too much like the first one." Well, the first one rocked...so how could you have too much of a good thing? Amazing visuals, you get to ride yoshi, stellar soundtrack, stellar control, and more of the same Mario we have grown to love.

4.Sonic the Hedgehog 4 (XBLive, PSN, WiiNet) SONIC!?!?!?! WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN!!!???? A great throwback to the old games, and a welcome to the new with the old. Kind of a rehash with boss battles, but it's great to see the old Sonic in a 2-D Adventure!

5.Bioshock 2 (XB360, PS3, PC) This is some scary crap man! But it is awesome. A welcome continuation of the first game and completes a great story. Some of the new things in the game were ok, but I still liked the old hacking system better, because of the skill involved. Great gameplay and a very fun online multiplayer!

Honorable Mention: Goldeneye 007 (Wii) and Donkey Kong Country Returns (Wii) Why? Because they are just fun, try them out. You won't be dissapointed....
