Lions QB Goff Has A Famous Friend In Mumford & Sons
The band Mumford & Sons was in Detroit to perform at Little Caesars Arena, the very same night the Lions were to play the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday Night Football.

According to WXYZ TV, lead singer Marcus Mumford went to the game and stayed until he had to join his band on stage at 9 p.m. Mumford met Jared Goff when they golfed together in Los Angeles. The two stayed in touch. Goff sent Mumford a text that said, "I'm so sad you're here the night we're playing and you can't come to the game." Since the venues are so close to one another, Mumford was able to watch a bit of the game before his show.
