Another marijuana dispensary is coming to West Michigan.

MLive reports that Redbud Roots will open at 237 W. Laketon Ave. this Thursday, July 23.

The 2,500 square foot dispensary, which caters to both medicinal and recreational users, is offering curbside pickup only. Redbud say a menu will be available Thursday morning.

According to MLive, Redbud will sell "concentrates, edibles, waxes, tinctures and topical creams."

Based in Buchanan, Redbud Roots is currently operating a dispensary in Williamsburg, Mich. and plans to open locations in Kalamazoo and Benton Harbor.

Redbud joins Muskegon's two other dispensaries, Park Place Provisionary, at 1922 Park Street; and Bella Sol Wellness, at 1839 Peck Street, which both opened this past January.

What's the status on recreational marijuana shops in Grand Rapids? According to MLive, earlier this month the Grand Rapids City Commission approved "fast tracking" applications for recreational marijuana retailers:

The resolution...allows already-approved medical marijuana provisioning centers to apply for a recreational marijuana retailer license on July 20. But it also requires the majority of them to wait until early September to apply for a zoning permit."
