Mother Alleges Her Baby Was Decapitated By Doctor During Delivery
Sadly, we all know things can sometimes go wrong in the delivery room when a baby is being born, but the baby's head coming off is usually not one of them.
A Baby Born is the Greatest Gift
Recently my son's older brother Isaak (whom I consider a son of mine) and his girl had their first baby. I was lucky enough to be there the morning the baby was born and hold that little bundle of joy and there is nothing in the world like.
Looking back at the photo above chokes me up with happiness because it was the first time I held my son Evan and I'm thankful every day for him coming into my life and knowing he and his older brother are the greatest gifts I've ever been given.
The photo above was taken 6 months after he was born, and seeing that smile and watching him grow up is just priceless. I couldn't imagine it any other way but this isn't the outcome some parents have when things go wrong in the delivery room.
Woman Alleged Her Baby Was Decapited During Delivery
The mother's name is Jessica Ross, and she recently was in a hospital to give birth to her baby boy. There were some issues with the baby's shoulders blocking him from being born. The doctor who was delivering the baby had to apply traction to the baby's head. According to court documents obtained by CNN allege the doctor grossly and negligently applied excessive traction which led to the decapitation death of the infant. The family has hired an attorney and is suing the hospital.
