Morning Belle Brings New Brunch Spot to Grand Rapids

Great news, brunch lovers! A breakfast and lunch chain is expanding with a new location in the Grand Rapids area.

Not too long ago we told you that Stan's Tacos in Standale would be permanently closing. The restaurant's last day in business was April 1. It was the last Stan's Tacos in our area, as the location downtown Grand Rapids and the one in Grand Haven had already shuttered. While it's always sad to see a restaurant close, at least it won't be sitting empty!

Morning Belle Brunch Restaurant Expands with New Grand Rapids Location

The same company behind Stan's Tacos, Meritage Hospitality Group is set to open another eatery in its place. The new restaurant will be the fourth Morning Belle brunch joint in our region. Other locations are on Bridge Street, the E. Beltine, and Breton Road.

At Morning Belle you'll find Michigan favorites like McClure's Pickles and Schuil Coffee. The restaurant uses fresh ingredients to create from-scratch meals that experiment with bright, new flavors.

The menu includes classic breakfast dishes like eggs cooked to order with meat and potatoes. Other options include omelets, benedicts, bowls, waffles, pancakes, toast, burritos, and sandwiches.

As no brunch would be complete without cocktails, Morning Belle serves mimosas, coffee drinks, bloody marys, and more. There's also happy hour daily from 1p.m. to 3p.m. with $2 off select drinks and half off bottles of champagne.

When Does Morning Belle in Standale Open?

The new Morning Belle restaurant at 355 Wilson Avenue NW in Walker will hold its grand opening May 20, 2025. According to a post to Facebook, the first 100 guests will get free coffee for life.

While hours for the new location have yet to be listed, the other Morning Belle restaurants are open daily 7a.m. to 3p.m.
