Campspot, a campground booking site that is actually based in Grand Rapids, Mich. has released the 2025 Campspot Awards, highlighting the top places to camp in the U.S. The rankings are broken down into different categories like "Top Unique Campgrounds" and "Top Campgrounds for Families."
Campspot says their rankings are determined by reviewing more than three million data points. They consider factors like guest ratings, reservation data, and park features. All the campgrounds honored "have earned distinction for their exceptional guest satisfaction and unique campground offerings."
The Michigan campground rated one of the top five best midsize campgrounds in the nation is Indian Creek Campground in Tecumseh.
In operation since 1997, the park is family owned and aims to be a great getaway for families. It sounds like there is tons to do at Indian Creek Campground, which is about 20 minutes northeast of Adrian. Experience the zipline, climbing walls, canoeing, heated pool, disc golf, mini golf, nature trails - and you can even hand out with llamas!
