Metalhead Ned’s Throwback Thursday – WGRD Pregnant Pageant

Thank you TimeHop app for making Throwback Thursday WAY easier! This is really hard to believe that this was 7 years ago. I was touring my Facebook to find out that WGRD Vet Lynae posted a TimeHop pic. I can remember this day like it was yesterday!

This was the WGRD Pregnancy Pageant. We ran it for another year after the initial one, but this was my first big event I worked at the station for. I remember being very excited to work this event because I really had no idea what to expect.

Looking at the picture, I have lost contact with most of these people. Spud, Deb, Lynae, Nikki, Yoder, Megan, and let's not forget JT. They were all here when I started as an Intern 7 years ago. How crazy is that? I still have a few of them on Facebook though!

I wasn't even considered 'Metalhead Ned' at this point. I was just an awkward intern looking to break into the radio business, I guess that worked out. My how times have changed. I have facial hair, ear penis', and a turkey neck...cool dude!
