Metalhead Ned’s Metal Minute-Mayhem Fest, As I Lay Dying, and Mastodon

In this week's Metal Minute, we cover the Rockstar Mayhem Fest lineup, As I Lay Dying changing their name, and Mastodons upcoming album.

If you missed it on air, here is the recap of this weeks METAL MINUTE!

• This years Rockstar Mayhem Festival lineup has been announced. Bringing in the metal this year will be Avenged Sevenfold, Korn, Asking Alexandria, Mushroomhead, Trivium, and plenty more! This massive tour starts in July.
• Interesting things are happening in the As I Lay Dying camp as members of the band have posted small snippits of audio along with a mysterious new logo. There is speculation of a new name for the band, which could mean As I Lay Dying is done.
• Mastodon has released new info on their upcoming 6th album. The album will be titled ONCE MORE AROUND THE SUN, and is due out sometime this summer with no firm release date. We'll hopefully hear something very soon.
