This McDonald's drive-through employee is being called a hero after he saved the life of an off-duty police officer and her children.

When the officer pulled up to the window the employee, Pedro Viloria, noticed something was very off about the situation when all of a sudden the car started to roll away and the children started screaming. Viloria then jumped out of the little drive-through window, stopped the car, got the officer out of her car and contacted emergency services.

The medical condition that caused the situation is unspecified, but the officer is being treated at a nearby hospital and is in critical condition.

As for Viloria, all he had to say was "I thought if these kids lose their mother today, that’s gonna be tragic. It is what a hero does.  If I would’ve need to die to save that woman, I would’ve done it.

Hopefully this man got a promotion, a raise, or something for his wonderful heroism!
