Man Pulled Over After Hearing of Sister’s Death, Cop Drives Him 100 Miles to Be With Family
A guy in Ohio named Mark Ross got the news on Sunday that his sister had died in a car accident. So, he jumped in a car with a friend and drove to Detroit to be with his mom, but they got pulled over for speeding along the way.
Neither of them had a valid license, and they both had arrest warrants, so they thought they were going to jail. But when Ohio Highway Patrol Sergeant David Robison heard about Mark's situation, he ended up driving him 100 miles to Detroit to be with his family.
Mark said in later Facebook posts that Robison even prayed with him when they got to Detroit, and he plans to attend the funeral. There's a GoFundMe for his sister's funeral costs. Her name is Eliza Fletcher, and she was 15 years old.
