I have been at WGRD for over 7 years, and the station has given away many great prizes.

The Rock Station 979 GRD gives away more concert tickets than any other radio station in the Grand Rapids region.

979 GRD has given away thousands in cash, up to a $30,000 winner. Harley-Davidson motorcycles, flyaway trips to see shows, autographed guitars, and VIP meet and greets with some of rock's biggest stars. One winner got to be head of security for a day for Metallica, the last time they were at Van Andel Arena, and escorted the band to the stage to start the show. I have only mentioned some of the prizes GRD has given away, and there is another killer prize on the link below.
