When you're popping a squat in the McDonald's bathroom, people generally don't think much about it. For many, using the restroom is purely transactional: you do your business, wash your hands, and go about your day. But that doesn't mean you can't have fun with it.

That's exactly what someone on Instagram is doing, with an entire account dedicated to bathroom reviews. Two things about Dumping Adventures' page (yes, that's the name) make it unique: how in-depth they are and how random the places they review are, especially here in Grand Rapids.

Understandable Grand Rapids landmarks like Yesterdog (which has an old-fashioned restroom with a pull-chain), but then also seemingly normal restrooms like Barnes & Noble inside Rivertown Mall.

Dumping Adventures' Restroom Journey Around The US

The account, which has 66k followers across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook, follows one person's journey around America, reviewing public restrooms along the way. Not much is known about the reviewer, but their accent makes the videos all the more enjoyable.

The reviews cover the bathroom's cleanliness, flushing power, decor, toilet-seat sturdiness, the "oh s**t bar," and the power of the "fart fan." Each restaurant gets a "doo-doo rating" out of five. The Dumping Adventure has reviewed restooms all around the country, from Michigan to Tennessee to Florida and more.

And honestly, it's about time. Bathroom decor is important because what else is there to look at? Can this toilet handle my dump if I find myself at war with my lunch? These are all important things to consider whilst one does one's business.

If the Dumping Adventure sees this, I have a recommendation. Next time you're in Grand Rapids, if you want a REAL "dumping adventure", make your way to The Anchor Bar and check out the bathrooms there.
