Free Beer & Hot Wings Live At Night Show Returns To 20 Monroe

The Free Beer and Hot Wings Show will bring its Live-at-Night Show to GLC Live at 20 Monroe in 2025.

The Free Beer & Hot Wings morning show is held in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and its home base is 979 GRD. Even though the show is done in the WGRD studios it is syndicated nationwide in nearly 50 markets.

Hosts Gregg "Free Beer" Daniels and Chris "Hot Wings" have worked in radio together for nearly 30 years since graduating college. 21 of those years have been spent making people laugh in the Grand Rapids area from 979 GRD.

Over the years the Free Beer and Hot Wings Show grew in popularity to the point of being able to their show live at a venue in front of a live audience. The show recently did what they call their annual Thanksgiving tradition with a live show at the Intersection. They also do live shows in several of their other markets they are syndicated on.

The Free Beer & Hot Wings Show wanted to entertain a live audience but do all the things they can't do on terrestrial radio so they created what they call the Live At Night. The show is uncensored and starts off with a radio vibe but slowly turns into skit comedy with several audience members joining the cast on stage. The Live-At-Night Show started at the Intersection, then grew to the DeVos Performace Hall where it was held several years before growing into a new venue.

Free Beer & Hot Wings Live at Night at the GLC Live at 20 Monroe

The Free Beer & Hot Wings Show announced their return for the second year to the GLC Live at 20 Monroe on Saturday, April 26, 2025.

2024 was the first year they show held its Live at Night performance at 20 Monroe to a sold out crowd that earned them their first brick. The brick is backstage at the venue and is created for artists that sell-out the venue. The show made a big deal about getting that brick and their fans showed the ulimate support by helping them get that brick.

Tickets for the Free Beer and Hot Wings Live at Night Show are on sale now. Tickets for Live at Night start at $25. VIP tickets include early entry to the venue, drink service from their seats, a signed poster, two drink tickets with appetizers, a photo, and a Q&A with the Free Beer & Hot Wings Show. Gold Circle tickets include fast pass entry with access to the first five rows.
