Aggie Usedly hosted the daily lottery number draw for 35 of the Lottery's first 40 years.

She was never a TV or movie star, but she was recognized around the state for hosting the daily Lottery show, which was syndicated to stations all over the State of Michigan.

Usedly began hosting the nightly draw in 1977, just five years after the Lottery's inception in 1972. She remained part of the broadcast for 35 years, leaving in 2012 when the show was automated.

Former co-host Chuck Gaidica from Detroit's WDIV shared some memories of Aggie, including the time she fell while on stage drawing the numbers. Rules stipulated the show could not be edited, so Aggie just kept going.
