Michigan 14-Year-Old Arrested For Alleged Armed Robbery Of A Gas Station
It seems like big crimes are being committed by younger and younger criminals. A 14-year-old kid has been arrested in an alleged gas station armed robbery in Big Rapids.

Kids from the beginning of time have found ways to get into trouble, some say it's part of being a kid.
There will always be kids that skip school, cheat on a test, get in fights, or lie for whatever reason, but at the end of the day, most of those things are harmless in the big picture.
Serious crime committed by kids used to be something only the bigger cities like Detroit, Flint, Saginaw, Lansing, Kalamazoo, and Grand Rapids experienced. Serious crimes involving youths continue to grow in those cities and are now moving further north in Michigan.
14-Year-Old Kid Arrested for Alleged Involvement in an Armed Robbery in Big Rapids
Early Thursday morning the Admiral Gas Station on State Street in Big Rapids was robbed at gunpoint by the young kid seen in the photo above. A gun was pointed at the gas station clerk which had to have freaked her out. The suspect demanded she fork over all the cash in the register.
Luckily no shots were fired and no one was injured. Surveillance footage captured pictures of the suspect and the vehicle used in the armed robbery.
According to FOX 17, the Big Rapids Police Department said the suspect may have been connected to a stolen vehicle at the home he was found at in Evart. The clothes in the surveillance photos and the gun were also found at the location. The 14-year-old has been charged with armed robbery and carrying a concealed weapon and is currently in police custody as the investigation continues.
