Kalamazoo Band Announced For Van’s Warped Tour 2025
When you hear about the Van's Warped Tour, there are plenty of different reactions. Many know it for the goliath it was: an insane traveling 41-city tour that brought punk and alternative bands all around the US and gave rising acts like Blink-182, Paramore, Fall Out Boy, and more a chance to burst into stardom. Hell, I was still single digits in the 2000s and I knew about Warped Tour.

However, the Warped Tour went on hiatus in 2019 following sexual assault allegations and many assumed it would stay that way. But Kevin Lyman, creator of the tour, announced it would return in 2025 to celebrate the 30th anniversary. The first wave of lineup announcements has come and a local band from Kalamazoo made the cut.

Meet Saturdays At Your Place
2024 was a huge year for Saturdays At Your Place, an alternative emo band from Kalamazoo. According to songstats.com, in August 2023, the band was averaging ~25,000 listeners on Spotify. Now, they're at nearly 200,000 listeners. The band went on its first headlining tour, selling out 23 of their 29 shows. They had all their equipment stolen in Ohio. They played overseas for the first time. S@YP was busy, to say the least.
Now, the band is kicking off 2025 with a bang after they appeared on the official Warped Tour Instagram in a very Michigan way (wearing a Carhartt jacket and digging in the snow) to announce they would be playing on the Washington, DC leg of the Warped Tour. Considering DC is already sold out, this is a huge opportunity for Saturdays.
There are still plenty of announcements to be made regarding the Warped Tour lineups, with each stop expected to have 70 to 100 bands across multiple genres, so keep an eye out for more information.
