Barracks 616

Last week was my first time out at Barracks 616.

I am so excited about getting my CPL (concealed pistol license) through them.

Barracks is the perfect place to shoot, and to learn. They have a state-of-the-art facility with instructors who are there to help.

Barracks is 100 percent on the safety train, and that's why I took their beginner class before I went out shooting.

The class goes through all the parts on a gun, and how to properly handle one.

I don't own a gun yet since I just got into this whole shooting thing. But, lucky for me, Barracks has rentals.

I have shot a .22; then a 9-millimeter.

Yesterday, I went back out for my first time shooting on my own not in a class.

I was a little nervous that I would have forgot some of the things I was taught, but I ended up being fine! I had a lot of fun. And while I still have crap aim, I think I'm getting a tad better.
