A “Lucky Dance” and a Second Chance: Otsego Woman Wins $1 Million at Griffins Game
Michelle Roemer of Otsego recently won $1,000,000 while at the Grand Rapids Griffins Game.

She was at the game to take part in the Michigan Lottery’s Millionaire Maker Second Chance event.
Michigan Lottery players who scan non-winning lottery tickets are entered for a chance to take part in the event where they can win the grand prize of $1,000,000.
Michelle shared with the Michigan Lottery that she was excited but skeptical when she got the phone call.
“Millionaire Maker was the first ticket I’d ever scanned for a second chance, so I was really excited when I got the call about being chosen as a contestant, even though I did think it was a scam at first. Whenever I play the Lottery, I do what I call my ‘Lottery lucky dance,’ so when the wheel was spinning, I was out there doing my lucky dance."
“When the wheel stopped on blue, I was so overwhelmed and couldn’t believe it. There’s truly nothing to compare that feeling to. This prize is life-changing!”
Michelle isn't the only person to win big with the Michigan Lottery.
A man visiting Michigan from Maryland recently won $1,000,000 playing a Lucky Numbers instant win ticket.
A Bay County woman who had been playing Lotto 47 for 20 years with the same numbers hit it big and won $1.1 million.
And an Oakland County woman playing Fantasy 5 online accidentally selected a wrong number that ended up with her winning $250,000.
