Linkin Park is Coming to Van Andel Arena

Linkin Park is back with new members and new music and will bring their 'From Zero Tour' to Grand Rapids Van Andel Arena.

It wasn't long after Linkin' Park released their Meteora box set and three previously unheard songs featuring the vocals of the late singer Chester Bennington that fans wondered if the band would ever tour again.

Little did fans know that members of Linkin Park had been working with singer Emily Armstrong who fronted the band Dead Sara. Original drummer Ron Bourbon distanced himself from the band after Chester Bennintons passing. Drummer, songwriter, and producer Colin Brittan replaced Bourbon. Guitarist Brad Delson is still a member of Linkin Park and is still involved in the creative process and the visuals for the band's live show but will not be touring. Delson handpicked guitarist Alex Felder to take his place on the road. Singer Mike Shinoda, bassist Dave Farrell, and DJ Joe Hahn are the three core members who will be the driving force when they hit the road.

Linkin Park streamed their first show for free worldwide and introduced the new band members and the first single from their latest album From Zero. The Emptiness Machine was the opening track followed by a blistering set showcasing new signer Emily Armstrong while showing the world Linkin Park is back.

Linkin Park is Coming to Van Andel Arena

When Linkin Park first started playing shows they were all stadium shows and I figured they would come to Michigan but I was thinking of Comerica Park and was pumped when I learned the show was coming to Van Andel Arena. The last time Linkin Park was scheduled to perform at Van Andel was canceled in 2015 due to a leg injury sustained by original singer Chester Bennington.
