We had a late start to winter this year. Many saw our cross country skis and fat tire bikes just sitting there, collecting dust. Now, just in time for all this wintery weather we are experiencing, the Indian Trails Golf Course is OPEN for winter activities! The trail at the golf course features a 3.7-mile fat-tire bike loop along with a two-mile cross-country ski and snowshoe loop.

To use the groomed bike or skiing trails you must bring your own fat-tire bikes or cross country skis. Dust them off and load them onto your vehicle! Helmets are required for bikers. Visitors must also wear face coverings when they are in the clubhouse. Visitors must maintain six feet of physical distance with others outside of their household. Face coverings are encouraged on the trail.

If you want to go snowshoeing, snowshoes are available and included in the cost of admission. The use of the trail system is only $3 per day, per person. You can purchase a season pass for just $15. For your convenience, day and season passes are available for purchase online on the Indian Trails Golf Course webpage.

Indian Trails Golf Course is located at 2776 Kalamazoo Avenue on Grand Rapids' southeast side. The clubhouse is open Thursdays and Fridays from 3-8 pm, Saturdays from 8 am-4 pm, and on Sundays from Noon-4 pm.

For updates on trail conditions, check out the Indian Trails Golf Course Facebook page. Additional information and trail maps can also be found on the Indian Trails Golf Course website.

Grab your winter gear and head out and enjoy this winter weather!
