The Insane Clown Posse announced at The Gathering Of The Juggalos last week that they will file suit against the Federal Bureau of Investigation for  listing Juggalos as a "loosely organized hybrid gang" in the 2011 National Gang Threat Assessment report.

Congrats to ICP.  To think that somebody is gang related just because they listen to a certain type of music is ridiculous.

I've been a fan of their music for years, but I don't remember ever being initiated into any type of gang.  I was never beaten in to anything and I certainly wasn't sexed in.  I don't consider myself to be a gang member, but the FBI apparently does.  That type of ignorance depresses me.

If I was suspected of murder, they would search my place and find about 25 ICP albums in my massive CD collection.  Would the next day's news headlines read "Juggalo Gang Member Suspected of Murder"?  Perhaps, unless they chose to link me to Marilyn Manson or Slayer since I have plenty of their albums as well.  However, I guarantee that my Elton John, Nickelback or Adele albums would never come into question.

Insane Clown Posse's new album, The Mighty Death Pop, drops tomorrow.
