Wayland’s Hot ‘n Now Bringing Back 39-Cent Burger For First Anniversary
Before there was a “Dollar Menu” or “Value Menu”, there was Hot 'n Now. At its peak, Hot 'n Now was the go-to spot for a cheap meal. But it isn’t the 90s anymore, and the company has changed a lot. Over 100 locations across the country have dwindled to just 2: one in Sturgis, and the other opened in Wayland last year.

To celebrate the new location’s first anniversary, the Wayland location is bringing back what made people love the restaurant in the first place: 39¢ hamburgers.
Hot 'n Now Brings Back Cheap Burgers For One Day Only
My dad used to tell me stories about going to Hot-N-Now for lunch and loading up on burgers. In today’s economy, prices have changed and aren’t anywhere near the 39¢ they were nearly three decades ago. But for one day, we’ll all get to experience the burger joint like it’s 1990.

The Gun Lake Investments, owners of Hot N' Now and nearby Sweetgrass Cafe, shared the details of the celebration. On October 13th, from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., visitors to Hot 'n Now can get a 39-cent burger with "throwback pricing". Note: 39-cent burgers are limited to one burger per person in each vehicle.
On top of the burger, attendees will get anniversary merch and other freebies.
If you haven't had a chance to get to Hot n' Now since it reopened, you can check out the gallery below from when I went on opening day to see the building and menu, and read my review of the food here.
