Soon Kansas City will know the delicious joy that is "crack fries".

BarFly Ventures LLC has announced plans to open a HopCat in Kansas City late this year, MLive reports.

Since opening in downtown Grand Rapids in 2008, this will be HopCat's 12th location.

In Fall 2015, they announced an expansion of 30 more HopCats. At the time, specific locations were not mentioned, but that BarFly was eyeing Midwest college towns.

Recently HopCat announced new locations in Kalamazoo and Chicago.

HopCat Kansas City will be located south of downtown, in the Westport neighborhood.

The bar will be three stories and include a "Local 30" selection of beers from Missouri and Kansas, plus an additional 100 rotating taps.

According to MLive, Hopcat and BarFly Ventures founder and CEO Mark Sellers said,

"Kansas City is a great town for craft beer with a vibrant community of brewers. The HopCat we're planning in Westport will be unique in many ways, serving as a regional showcase for craft beers from Missouri, Kansas and around the world."
