Can't get enough Matt Pike in your life? We don't blame you. Thankfully, High on Fire have just announced a batch of 2014 North American tour dates, and believe it or not, nearly half the dates are 100 percent free of charge!

First off, High on Fire are hitting the road for the inaugural Converse Rubber Tracks Live Tour. The run consists of five free concerts, with either Blackest or Arctic opening depending on the show. The gigs will coincide with Converse Rubber Tracks "pop-up" recording studios in each city, "providing opportunities for emerging artists to unleash their creative spirit."

Beyond the Converse shows, High on Fire will hit the stage for an additional six gigs, one of which will take place on Motorhead's 'Motorboat' festival cruise.

For the past couple of months, High on Fire have been working on a follow-up to their brilliant 2012 full-length, 'De Vermis Mysteriis.' “Des, Jeff and I are really getting creative and writing a hell of a new record,” says Pike. “It’s a crazy project and I can’t really explain what it’s all about just yet, but we’ve been writing a lot of crazy intense material that will up the ante, and bring things to another level.”

In other Matt Pike news, Sleep recently released the single 'The Clarity.' It's the first original piece composed by the group in 18 years, and according to the band, a new full-length album is on the way!
