The Grand River is an integral part of our community so keeping it clean is something, as residents, we should feel pride in doing.

On Saturday, September 8th the Mayor’s Grand River Cleanup is back for its 15th year! Join Grand Rapids' Mayor Rosalynn Bliss and hundreds of other people in helping clean the river. According to the West Michigan Environmental Action Council (WMEAC)

...it only takes 15-30 minutes for trash on our streets and around storm drains to find its way to the Grand River.

If you want to do your part, the cleanup begins at 9 a.m.at 6th Street Park. And how does one kick back after a hard days of work? With a beer, of course. Lunch, live entertainment and a beer garden (thanks to Founder's) will all be provided afterwards.
