Greenville Woman Allegedly Killed by Ex in Illinois

A Greenville, Michigan, woman was reportedly killed by her ex-husband from Greenville at her Illinois home, where she lived with her new husband.

Woman From Greenville Found Dead; Ex Named Suspect

A 41-year-old Greenville woman who divorced her husband, moved to Illinois, and remarried was allegedly stalked and killed by her ex-husband, according to WZZM.

Ashley Stewart and her ex-husband, Ryan Dodd, both graduated from Greenville High School. Neighbors in Illinois reported to police that they had seen Dodd in their neighborhood previously.

A neighbor reported seeing Dodd crawling on all fours through the bushes, carrying a large Bowie knife, which they found unusual. The neighbor’s wife added that she saw Dodd standing in their front yard, staring into their house.

Stewart’s current husband alerted authorities after reviewing their home security footage and seeing her ex‑husband chasing her.

Neighbors of the Stewarts took photos of Dodd near the scene of the crime. According to police, Dodd followed Stewart into her home, where he allegedly stabbed her multiple times, resulting in her death.
