7 Grand Rapids Restaurants That Recently Closed in 2025

At the beginning of the year, we posted about nine restaurants around Grand Rapids that had recently closed, along with the reasons for their closures. The end of 2024 and the beginning of 2025 were a challenging time for the restaurant industry around the city, with several staple establishments announcing they would be closing their doors within a few hours of each other.

While many hoped the bleeding would stop, the list of closures has only grown longer as 2025 has continued. With the announcement yesterday that Turnstiles would be closing its doors after 4 years, we felt it was time to update our list of restaurants that have shut their doors in recent months.
