After eight years, the Fowling Warehouse on Cascade Road is shutting its doors.

A Favorite Spot for Games and Drinks in Grand Rapids

I still remember the first time our whole work crew went there. We all don’t get together outside of work often, so it felt a little like skipping school. We had a blast! Later, I went to a friend’s birthday party at the Fowling Warehouse, and it was just as memorable.

The owners first opened the bar and entertainment venue in Cascade in 2018, bringing fowling, a mix of football, bowling, and horseshoes, to West Michigan. Their original location opened in Hamtramck in 2014.

Fowling Warehouse in Grand Rapids Set to Close

The owners shared news of the closure to Facebook and thanked the community for years of support, writing:

We came here excited to introduce Fowling to the west side of the state, but what we found was something even greater. An incredible community welcomed us, supported us, and made this journey unforgettable.

They say that rising costs and a changing market have made it impossible to continue, so they've made the difficult decision to close.

The final day for Fowling Warehouse Grand Rapids will be March 28.

The owners added:

What we will carry with us is not the closing, it is the memories. The leagues, the celebrations, the first-time players who became regulars, the laughter, the energy, and the countless moments shared in these walls. You trusted us to be a place to gather with friends and family, and that means more to us than we can put into words.

They encouraged the community to visit in the remaining weeks for one last game or reservation. All other Fowling Warehouse locations remain open, though the only other Michigan location is in metro Detroit. Gift cards or free play passes should be used at the Grand Rapids location before March 28.
