Games to Try Before You Die: TMNT 2-The Arcade Game (NES)

If you grew up in the late 80's and 90's, you know who the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are. Pizza addicted turtles that happen to be ninjas. Man, cartoons were so much better in the 90's! Even though they still exist today, they are not as "rad" as they were. With their popularity, also came a Nintendo game. No...not the first one...the second one....kicked ass!

What: TMNT 2: The Arcade Game is a side scrolling beat em up that you would most likely find at a local Chuck E Cheese. Chances are, you saw me there poppin' tokens till  I got to Shredder...then I would die....you are the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, just kickin' ass and eating pizza.

Why: It's a damn fun game! Simple gameplay! Beat up Foot Soldiers! This game got EXTREMELY DIFFICULT at the end though. Shredder was damn impossible unless you had a code or a ton of quarters. This game was way before online gaming, so punching your friends shoulder for stealing a pizza power up was typical, especially when they had more life than you....what a dick....

If you have a NES or are lucky enough to find an arcade cabinet, pop this thing in and love the sweet nostalgia!
