Games To Try Before You Die: North & South (NES)

Strangly enough, today was the first day that I played this game. I was always curious about this game because it is so hard to find! All of sudden, my friend Bruce came across the game and I finally was able to take part in the North Vs. South fight!

What: In North & South, it's and either 1 player or 2 player game. One side choses the North, and one side choses the South. You battle it our in a 'RISK' type environment and see who can win the Civil War!

Why: At first, the game is kind of intimidating. You look at the game itself, see it, and really have no clue what your are doing. After you kind of play through it for a bit, you really get it and the battles can get pretty heated! This game takes steady planning and a little bit of luck. No matter what side you chose, it's all about how you strategize your moves! A game could last for hours or even minutes. I suggest playing with the variables in the game because it add's a sort of challenge to the gameplay. One of the most difficult parts of the game is when you can attack a train and get more money! The jumping is a little delayed, making it really hard to jump onto a train.

It's a fun game, but I do suggest playing with 2 players. One player I am sure is fine, but 2 really makes it fun.
