Free Beer & Hot Wings: Beaver Pulls Man Out of His Kayak [Video]

A guy in upstate New York is recovering after suffering wounds to his back and deep puncture wounds to his arm caused by a beaver attack.

Michael Cavanaugh of Lima, N.Y., had just gotten into a kayak at BayCreek Paddling Center when the beaver decided that he was a little too close. The beaver hopped into the kayak, grabbed Cavanaugh's arm and pulled him into the water.

Someone nearby was able to hit the beaver with a paddle, causing him to let go of Cavanaugh's arm. The beaver was found dead a few days later.

Cavanaugh is recovering and is also being treated for rabies as a precaution, WHAM-TV reported.
