First Ever Mac and Cheese Festival Coming to Grand Rapids This Year

Who doesn't love ooey gooey mac and cheese? Well, get ready GR, because a new Mac and Cheese Festival is coming to town!

Back in 2019, the first ever Mac and Cheese Festival was held in Kalamazoo, Mich.

Since there's so much love for the event, the event is now traveling to a new city and location for the first time!

Hosted by Outlier Events and Undeniably Dairy, Grand Rapids Mac and Cheese Fest is Saturday and Sunday August 12 and 13, 2023.

Outlier recently put on the Grand Rapids Donut and Beer Festival.

What to Expect at Grand Rapids Mac and Cheese Festival

You'll get to sample one-of-a-kind mac and cheese dishes, enjoy  craft beer, live music, and fun activities. Each attendee will receive "all-inclusive" style tickets with food samples, beer/cider samples, a souvenir cup and more. This is an all-ages event.

Tickets to Grand Rapids Mac and Cheese Fest

Tickets for GR's Mac and Cheese Festival are not on sale yet. You can sign up here to be put on a priority list to be the first to know when they do!

Now, we don't yet know how much tickets will cost, however, last year, tickets to Kalamazoo's Mac and Cheese Fest started at $40 for "Just the Mac".

Here's a breakdown of ticket pricing:

• $30 GA Just the Mac Tickets include admission, plus 7 tokens for mac samples, logoed cup and lanyard.
• $40 GA Mac and Beers Tickets include admission, 7 tokens for mac samples, 5 drink tokens, logoed cup and lanyard.
• $40 VIP Just the Mac Tickets include admission, early entry at 3p.m., 10 tokens for mac samples, two tokens for non alcoholic drinks, mac and cheese hat, lanyard, cup.
• $55 VIP Mac and Beers tickets include admission, early entry at 3p.m, 10 tokens for mac samples, 10 drink tokens, mac and cheese hat, lanyard, cup.

Again, keep in mind pricing could be different for Grand Rapids Mac and Cheese Fest.
