There's a unique way to dispose of your Christmas tree at a farm in West Michigan. They are asking for donations of old Christmas trees to feed to their goats!

Lewis Farms & Petting Zoo wants to feed your Christmas tree to their goats. It's a special, nutritious treat. Pine needles work as a natural worm control for the goats and they also have a lot of vitamin C. They've been giving the goats Christmas trees for several years and say the goats love them and can completely finish a tree in just minutes.

Lewis Farms & Petting Zoo will be accepting Christmas trees through the end of January at 4180 W M-20 in New Era, Michigan. The drop off location is in the main parking lot. Just look for the sign that says, “Thank you for the tree-mendous treat!” All decorations need to be removed from the tree before being dropped off.

The goats at Lewis Farms & Petting Zoo love the trees!
