Did You Know That Art Prize Also Has Music Entries?
This is my first Art Prize, and I must say, there are a lot of...um...interesting things dumped all over downtown. I will stick with interesting as the word for now, until I get a moment to wander around looking at it all closer.
But this got me thinking...are there music entries? And how does that work? Does some poor guitarist have to sit on a corner for 14 hours a day throughout Art Prize, playing their song over and over non-stop?
I searched the Art Prize site for songs, and found a bunch of song entries, but so far haven't found anything I'm really excited about. A lot of saxophone stuff. Call Hot Wings.
I did find this, though:
Whatever, maybe we should start our own Music Prize event, and have rock bands playing on every street corner, with voting! There's not enough rock in Art Prize.
And I don't mean stuff made from rocks, either, I'm sure some "artist" has got a pile of rocks somewhere that explores man's sense of...something stupid, or whatever.
