I just saw some crows this morning enjoying a buffet of roadkill. It's either crows, ravens, turkey buzzards, or the occasional eagle feasting on roadkill.
Michigan has a variety of animals that get hit by vehicles: deer, squirrels, raccoons, possums, rabbits, coyotes, foxes, porcupines, turkeys, muskrats, beavers, dogs, cats, and varieties of birds. If you are further north, you could see an elk, bear, wolf, cougar, or moose, but these are rare.

Recently, someone posted photos of roadkill with get-well balloons attached on the Michigan Reddit page. The poster says the dead animals with get well balloons were seen on M-52 between Saginaw and Chesaning.
My guess is the roadkill has been on the side of the road for quite some time, so someone attached the balloons to attract the attention of the folks who pick up and dispose of roadkill. Let's find out what others had to say on the Michigan Reddit thread.

I knew it wouldn't take long before someone thought it was funny.
