The Holland Sentinel reports that Monday, Culver's in Holland will be donating half of that day's sales to the family of the former employee, Keaton Kroll.

Keaton was a 16-year-old sophomore at Zeeland East High School and was an employee of the Holland Culver's when he passed away on November 16th while playing soccer.

Jon Keomanikhoth, one of the managers at Culver's in Holland, told the Sentinel that members of Keaton's family have worked at the restaurant since 2010.

He also told the news outlet,

“Keaton’s positive outlook and attitude brought the whole team’s spirits up when he worked. We will miss his smile and cheerfulness while working — he is part of our family, as is the rest of the Kroll family.”

The Culver's location in Holland will be open Monday from 10 am to 11 pm. Any regular menu item sold during that time, 50% will go to the Kroll family.
