Adorable Hudsonville Ice Cream Shop Now $275K Cheaper
You ever see a real estate listing and immediately think, “Okay… if I can just get a few friends together, we could totally buy this”? That was my exact reaction when I stumbled across one of the cutest little ice cream stands in West Michigan hitting the market.

As someone whose summers basically revolved around lake days, trips to the playground, and stopping for ice cream afterward, the idea of owning a place like this is super tempting!
A Beloved Hudsonville Ice Cream Stand Hits The Market
Country Sundae in Hudsonville is officially up for sale. Actually, it’s been on the market since last spring, when the owner decided to retire after 35 years.
Asking Price Drops To $700K
The asking price has also come down quite a bit. The small-but-mighty ice cream shop was originally listed for $975,000. It’s now down to $700,000.

According to MLive, the owner had hoped to reopen for the 2026 season, but winter caused some unexpected issues. Temperatures inside the building dropped below freezing, which ended up damaging parts of the plumbing along with two pieces of equipment. Rather than invest in replacing the equipment, the decision was made to close up shop and lower the asking price instead.

What The New Owner Would Be Getting
The 682-square-foot stand includes a built-in drive-thru and two access points, and it sits on a busy corner in a fast-growing part of Hudsonville. The listing describes it as “a true turn-key operation” with “endless” potential for expansion.

Can't you already her kids laughing outside while families line up for cones on a warm summer night? Add a few flower pots from a local greenhouse, some string lights, and maybe a couple new specialty sundaes to the menu, and it’s easy to picture this becoming one of those classic West Michigan summer spots families return to year after year.
So… anybody want to split an ice cream stand with me?
