This Restaurant Has Been Named Michigan’s Best Retro Diner
Classic diner food - breakfast, burgers, shakes - is there anything better? Well, maybe — if all that delicious food is served in a cool retro setting!

Now, sadly, it seems a lot of those retro diners have closed.
I still miss Rosie's Diner in Rockford, Mich., which sat vacant for years and last I'd heard was headed to Missouri.
BUT - there are still some great diners with old-school vibes left in Michigan and one is getting national attention!

LoveFood.com went on a hunt for each state's best "colorful vintage joints with long counters, cozy booths, jukeboxes, and other retro touches" plus great eats that transport guests back to the 1950s and 60s.
The foodie publication's pick for the best retro diner in Michigan is The Grand Diner in Novi.
The Grand Diner is located at 48730 Grand River Avenue in Novi. While I have not been able to find an original opening date, the 1950s-style eatery reopened in 2015 and is family-owned. Owners say they love serving fresh food to their guests and their families. Here's a peek inside the retro diner, with its pink and blue booths, checkerboard tile, and vintage posters.
