Michigan is great for foodies! That includes sweet (and savory) treats. One bakery is serving up what's being called the best pie in Michigan.

Foodie publication Lovefood.com sought to find the most delicious pie in each state based on user reviews, awards, and the experiences of their team.

Their choice for best pie in Michigan comes from Achatz Handmade Pie Co., which has nine locations throughout the state.

Specifically, Lovefood compliments Achatz Pie's 4-berry pie, which has locally grown cherries, blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries.

Achatz Handmade Pie Co. was founded by Wendy and Dave Achatz in 1993. The 4-berry pie was created by accident when Wendy had been baking all day and had various berries left over, but not enough to make one more flavor of each, so she combined them all in to one pie. The eatery also serves up Dutch Apple Pie, Cherry Crumb Pie, Sweet Potato Pie, Traditional Pumpkin Pie, Pecan Pie, gluten free cobblers, and sugar free pies.
