Looking for an activity this fall to stay safe and enjoy the scenery? How about a drive on some local roads to check out the fall color?

You can take a drive in the safety of your own car, plus affordable gas prices make it easy to fill up the gas tank to hit the road.

The County Road Association of Michigan just recently released their list of "Don't Miss" local roads to see fall color. This list reflects the best suggestions from over two dozen county road agencies who know the best color spots in their area.

Colors should start to peak in the Upper Peninsula by the end of the month of September. Here in west Michigan, our colors should peak sometime between October 7th-14th.
