This goes beyond a recall. Fisher-Price and the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has issued a warning statement for anyone who has the Rock 'n Play Sleeper about 10 reported infant deaths.

According to the CPSC, the deaths happened between 2015 and now and all occurred to infants 3 months and older. Every incident was because the baby rolled over from their back to their stomach.

According to medical literature, infants typically begin rollover behaviors at 3 months.

It's recommended that you stop using the product once your child is 3 months or is beginning to roll over, however, I personally don't even think it's worth the risk no matter the age. If you are continuing to use the product make sure to always use the restraints.

To keep your baby safe when in a crib, car seat, bassinet or sleeper: NEVER add blankets, stuffed animals or pillows that can suffocate them. Make sure to always have your baby on their back when putting them to sleep.
