Of all the Great Lakes, we hear a lot about Lake Michigan, Lake Superior, Lake Erie, and Lake Ontario. We don't hear as much about Lake Huron.

A few years ago, I rode my Harley along the coast of Lake Huron. It was one of the best rides I had ever had. It was one of the Great Lakes I had never been to since the closest I got previously was the Saginaw Bay. It's a great ride if you want a new place to visit this summer.
Lake Michigan is known for its size, beaches, and diverse recreational opportunities. Lake Superior is known for being the largest freshwater lake in the world and for its immense depth, shipwrecks, and Pictured Rocks. Lake Erie is known for its fishing, primarily for walleye. Lake Ontario is known for fishing, boating, and proximity to Niagara Falls. A lot of fishing TV shows cover Lake Ontario. So, what is Lake Huron known for?
Lake Huron is known for its beauty, 30,000 islands, and history involving shipwrecks. Lake Huron has the longest shoreline of all the Great Lakes. Many have noticed the shoreline is more exposed than usual this spring.
