911 Ceremonies in Allendale, Grand Rapids & Kalamazoo
There are 911 remembrance ceremonies all across Michigan today. Here are some West Michigan ceremonies you can attend.
According to WOOD TV, retired Brigadier General Michael McDaniel will be a part of the ceremonies in Grand Rapids. Here is a list of West Michigan events:
- Allendale: U.S. flag placement at Grand Valley state University's Kirkhof Center at 7 a.m.
- Grand Rapids: 9/11 Community Day of Remembrance and Scout Salute from dawn to dusk at Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum
- Grand Rpids: U.S. flag placement near Grand Valley State Universities Beckering Family Carillion Tower at DeVos Center at 7 a.m.
- Kalamazoo: 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb at Wings Event Center from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
- Kalamazoo: 9/11 Remembrance Event at Bronson Park at 5:30 p.m.
