70 People Arrested At A House Party But The DA Is Lost On How To Proceed

Police in Bartow County, Georgia arrested 70 people at a 21st birthday house party for less than an ounce of marijuana and cocaine but the District Attorney is confused on whether or not to charge everyone or not.

There was also three guns found at the party but two college students came forward with their gun licenses and another belonged to the girl who rented the home and kept it locked in the attic.

As far as the drugs go, the issue is do they charge all 70 people for drugs or just the one or two people they could belong to. Now, the DA is waiting for a report from the local drug task force.

The kicker is that the police were never called in regards to the party but had calls of gunshots in the area and while they were canvassing they said they smelled weed and called backup.

Locals wonder if race played a factor in such a small amount of drugs becoming such a big problem and even are calling it a waste of resources.
