Several cities around West Michigan have been holding carnival food drive-thru's throughout the summer and if you haven't had a chance yet to check one of them out (or maybe you can't get enough of it) there's another one in town that you'll be able to visit this weekend.

Beginning Thursday 7/23 and going until Sunday 7/26, the Woodland Mall in Kentwood will be holding a Drive Thru Carnival Food Fair event. In their words, "everyone needs an elephant ear" and I couldn't agree more. How often are you actually eating an elephant ear? Maybe once or twice a year? It's a carnival food staple! But that's not all. There will be a variety of foods ranging from corn dogs, fries, popcorn, funnel cakes, cotton candy, caramel apples, slushies, fried Oreos, and pretty much all the sweet and savory foods you'd find at a carnival.

This event is drive-thru only and you have to enter through Von Maur. There will be orange cones and flags signifying where to go. Make sure to stay in your car when you arrive; and when you're ordering have your mask on. A "car hop" will come to you to take your order.

If you've indulged a bit too much and you're feeling extra full, you might as well walk it off at the mall since you're already there. Maybe you'll even find something nice for yourself because after months of isolation and being cooped indoors, you deserve it. Treat yo self.

The carnival food fair event goes from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day. Manu items will range from $3 to $10 in price. You can see a menu here.
