The pandemic ruined a lot of things for us this year, including the annual summer visit to the fair. All were forced to cancel. But, food vendors throughout West Michigan, have stepped it up this summer by still giving us one of the best things about a carnival... the food!

Labor Day marks the unofficial end to summer and before it completely slips away you can still get a taste of what's left. The Allegan County Fair announced that Fair Food Mania is back this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday offering up some of your classic favorites such as:

  • Corn Dogs
  • Funnel Cakes
  • Elephant Ears
  • Dipped Apples
  • Fries
  • Cotton Candy
  • Pizza

There's even a vendor selling elotes, tacos, and burritos and another that sells steak tips and sandwiches! You can see the menu here. In total there will be 11 vendors. While there's a lot of delicious options to choose from, I love getting a walking taco anytime I'm at a carnival because not only are they delicious but they're super easy to eat.

Concessions are drive-thru only and you must stay in your car the entire time. Bathrooms won't be available. Cash isn't required but recommended.

Fair Food Mania will be Friday from 4p-9p, Saturday 11a-7p, & Sunday 11a-6p.

If you can't make it this weekend... there's always next! That's right. It's back-to-back weekends to get in your fair food fix. Dates will be Friday, 9/18 and Saturday, 9/19.
