Wildroast Coffee Co. Opens First Grand Rapids Location

Earlier this year we told you Wildroast Coffee Co. would be opening two Grand Rapids locations. It's opening day for the coffee shop at 637 Stocking Ave. NW, and Wildroast is celebrating by giving away free drinks all day Friday, May 1. Just note it's one per person.

The café opens 8 a.m. for the kickoff and closes at 6 p.m. It’s taking over the former Morning Ritual space, which has since moved downtown to 150 Ottawa Ave. NW, Suite 101. So if you’ve been missing a coffee stop in that spot, here you go!

Wildroast first opened in Grandville in 2019 and has built a solid following thanks to its house-roasted beans, specialty lattes with house-made syrups, cold brew, matcha, tea, and lemonade. The menu also includes sandwiches, wraps, croissants, cookies, muffins, and other baked treats.

Wildroast Also Plotting Downtown Spot

This is also just the first step in a bigger move into Grand Rapids. A second Wildroast location is still planned for downtown at 61 Monroe Center NW later this year. Here's hoping they do free coffee on opening day there too!
